A blind person does not see
what there is to be:
a stranger’s logic that knocks at the door of the heart
that stays shut because.
It does not take vision
to accept the world’s fashion.
How about, just a bit of love, you say?
My sweet honey,
when does love ever settle conflicts
except bring two lifeless bodies together?
Seeing, it requires
the body be stripped of all vanities:
the ego, the pride, and everything,
till the soul lays glaringly bare;
Only then can a blind person truly see.
